Job Fair 2025 – Lahore Campus (February 19, 2025)

COMSATS University Lahore Campus hosted its 7th Annual Job Fair on 19 February 2025, opening its doors at 10:00 AM for students, alumni, and jobseekers across various disciplines. The fair, held in the central hall of the campus, lasted until 5:00 PM, drawing participation from numerous software companies, engineering firms, management consultancies, and startups.

From early morning, students were seen queuing at booths to learn about internship opportunities, full-time roles, and graduate programs. Companies such as Cinnova Technologies were present, offering technical assessments, career counselling, and in-some- cases on-the-spot interviews.

One highlight was the collaboration between the Lahore Campus’s Computer Science, Engineering, and Management Sciences departments, which collectively organized information sessions throughout the fair. These included panels on résumé building, interview skills, trends in software hiring, and soft skills for technical roles. Career services offices arranged workshops early in the afternoon on professional branding and career mapping. The fair also included a “Career Opportunities You Dream Of” theme, emphasizing that students should aim high, explore diverse career paths, and connect with firms that fit their long-term goals.

By the close, many students had secured follow-up meetings with recruiters, internships, or conditional job offers. The event received strong feedback for its organization, scope, and the breadth of participating employers. CSS leveraged the fair to highlight high-performing students, while companies expressed interest in deeper engagement, including giving guest lectures and sponsoring projects. Looking forward, CSS is planning to expand Job Fair 2026 to include international firms and virtual booths to cater to remote opportunities.
